Jordan Matthews

Jordan Matthews is one of the most accomplished players in Vanderbilt Football history and a respected leader both on and off the field. During his collegiate career, he became Vanderbilt’s all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdown catches while earning First-Team All-SEC honors twice and First-Team All-American recognition in 2013. Matthews finished his career holding SEC records for career receptions and receiving yards, helping elevate the Vanderbilt football program to national prominence.Selected by the Philadelphia Eagles in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft, Matthews went on to play several seasons in the NFL, recording more than 3,200 receiving yards and 22 touchdowns. Known for his work ethic, character, and leadership, he has remained deeply connected to the game and to mentoring young athletes. Today, Matthews continues to make an impact through his involvement with Vanderbilt Football, speaking engagements, and efforts to encourage and develop the next generation of leaders both in sports and in life.
